Welsh Valley Students Honor Veterans for Memorial Day

Students from Welsh Valley Middle School, along with some parent/guardian volunteers, joined members of the Vandiver-Moylan American Legion Post 355 to place flags at the graves of veterans buried at Westminster Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd in preparation for Memorial Day.

After placing the flags at the gravesites, the students returned to the Legion Post and toured its museum. The event was organized by Legion member Tom Shallow in cooperation with Welsh Valley Middle School teacher Christopher Gari.
