The Schuylkill Valley Area Band, which is comprised of the top musicians from a collection of middle schools throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, recently put their talents on display after weeks of diligent individual and group preparations during a wonderful evening of music hosted at Tredyffrin/Easttown Middle School.

Students from all three of the District’s middle schools – Bala Cynwyd, Black Rock and Welsh Valley – were among this gifted ensemble of local musicians, who were each selected not only based on their musical merits, but for the character they have demonstrated in the classroom throughout the school year!

Congratulations to all of the Dragons, Knights and Royals on being selected for the group and for a great performance!
