Welsh Valley Middle School maintains a strong tradition of academic and co-curricular excellence and a nurturing, supportive learning environment for grades 5-8.
In early August, nearly 100 rising fourth and fifth graders blasted off into the world of aerospace engineering during an action-packed Elementary STEM Camp!
Welsh Valley Middle School’s theater organization, Valley TLC, recently wrapped up a crowd-pleasing run of The Music Man Jr., bringing energy, humor and heart to the Dragons’ auditorium in three fantastic performances!
Welsh Valley is celebrated for its outstanding arts, music and theater programs. A full range of curricular and co-curricular opportunities are available to students!
Welsh Valley Middle School has once again earned the No Place for Hate designation from the Anti-Defamation League for their commitment to celebrating diversity, championing inclusion, and challenging bias and bullying at all levels!
Students at Welsh Valley Middle School recently had the opportunity to hear from acclaimed author Linda Sue Park during a special school visit, where the Newbery Medal-winning writer shared a thoughtful and inspiring presentation about her journey as an author and the stories behind her work!

On June 15, 2026, Welsh Valley Middle School celebrated its eighth-grade class at a special promotion ceremony as the Dragons marked the end of one chapter in their academic lives and the beginning of another.
