As part of their recognition and celebration of Autism Acceptance/Awareness Month, Penn Valley Elementary School students recently ditched their desks and organized outdoors as they participated in the Blowing Bubbles for Autism campaign.

The goal of Blowing Bubbles for Autism is to highlight and celebrate the positive aspects of autism, such as creativity, individuality and singular talents, while also raising awareness of the challenges faced by autistic individuals.

Penn Valley’s school-wide participation in this important program helps to promote acceptance and understanding of autism, while simultaneously serving as a conspicuous demonstration of their support for their autistic classmates. Blowing Bubbles for Autism is just one of many ways the Penn Valley community promotes inclusivity and encourages students and staff to embrace and celebrate the differences that make each of us unique.# LMSDBuildingBelonging
