LMSD artists shine in 2018 ISC Art Show
LMSD artists shine in 2018 ISC Art Show

The Interschool Council (ISC) of Lower Merion School District is currently sponsoring the annual ISC Art Show at the Main Line Art Center featuring student artwork selected by teachers from all ten schools throughout the District. More than 400 pieces on exhibit highlight the creativity and talent of students in kindergarten through twelfth grade across a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed media, photography, ceramics, and more.

Parents, family, friends and community members who attended this year's opening Student Reception on Saturday, February 24 could be heard commenting on the amazing art work created by District students and the talent displayed by all age groups and across all mediums.

Throughout the duration of the exhibit, which runs through Sunday, March 4, there will also be a collection of art supplies being held for Lucy Belle's Rainbow, a non-profit organization that provides art materials to children receiving cancer treatment at CHOP, in loving memory of Lucy Belle Perkins, a passionate art student from Bala Cynwyd Middle School who passed away after a brave battle with cancer.
