Heather Exley, from Sky Soup Art Center in Narberth, joined students from Merion Elementary School for an Artist-in-Residence project in April 2024.

Each student completed a quilt square. Together, their creations will make a giant Merion school quilt!

Each week, a different section of the quilt is being displayed in the window of the former Taco Take-Away shop at 240 Haverford Avenue in Narberth for NarbArt Month.

After the public display, the different sections will be sewn together and the completed quilt will be installed in the Merion Elementary School auditorium. 

The quilt squares illustrate the diversity of Merion students and the beauty they create when they all come together as a community. #LMSDBuildingBelonging.
