Nine students from Harriton High School and 24 students from Lower Merion High School were named Finalists by the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
The senior diver recently set the Lower Merion pool record with a mark of 291.00 and also placed third overall in the PIAA District 1 AAA championships.
The Lower Merion boys and girls swimming teams finished third and fifth overall, respectively, and collected an impressive nine top-three finishes in individual and relay events, including a first-place finish by sophomore Grady Gardner in 1m Diving.
