Members of Lower Merion's InsideOut and BARE recently held a Thrift Shop Fundraiser in the Blackbox Theater benefiting the Covenant House – a homeless shelter for Philadelphia youth that also provides an array of services for young people, including a first-class clinic, staff to help with going to college or finding a job, and individualized support to help plan for the future and achieve goals.
This was truly a student-driven project as the members of InsideOut – a student-run, interactive online forum exploring the world of visual arts, popular culture and more - and BARE – an emerging fashion club - organized, coordinated and staffed the entire event, which ultimately raised $730 for Covenant House.
InsideOut is a creative outlet for LMHS students to both inspire and be inspired by artwork and serves as a platform to display and discuss art, including work within the Lower Merion community and beyond.
