Lower Merion's Dylan Peterson named Main Line Boys Athlete of the Week

Lower Merion High School's Dylan Peterson has been named the Main Line Boys Athlete of the Week as the senior defenseman has played a pivotal role on both ends of the ice for the Aces. Peterson leads the team in scoring while routinely getting the assignment of covering the opposing team's top player. His spectacular play is a big reason why the Aces are looking forward to potentially earning a spot in the Central Athletic League (CAL) playoffs and hopefully making a strong postseason push.

“Dylan is a tremendous player and fun to watch, but he is an even better teammate," said Lower Merion head coach Dan Harkins. "He brings a positive attitude to the team and with his playing experience, it’s like having another coach out on the ice.”

Outside the rink, Peterson is a member of the National Honor Society and Israeli Culture Club. In the spring, he exchanges his hockey stick for a lacrosse stick as a member of the Aces' varsity squad.
