As the bright autumn sun shone down on Arnold Field, hundreds of Lower Merion High School students and staff showed off their school spirit, one day before the 127th LM-Radnor football game.
The LM-Radnor game is believed to be the longest-running public high school football rivalry in the country. The game is set for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Radnor.
The Friday pep rally capped off a week of spirit activities at LMHS. The event included an a cappella rendition of the National Anthem, followed by performances by the drill team, cheerleaders and football players, seniors, dance team and -- always a favorite -- a staff dance number.
Several fall sports and activities that had stellar seasons were recognized and the senior captains of the football team thanked their classmates and teammates for their support.
The pep rally concluded with the recognition of the Radnor Game Royalty Court, as voted on by the students. For a slide show of pep rally photos, please click through the gallery below.
