Best Buddies and Bagels -- Spread the Word!

Students who participate in Lower Merion High School's Best Buddies Program were invited to take part in the grand opening of a new eatery.

In November 2023, Best Buddies Matthew Hartstein and Declan Brophy, Alanna Urteaga and Oscar Theon, and Erin Fox and Delaney Baer teamed up with the folks at Wynnewood's Spread Bagelry to help make a new cream cheese and take part in a ribbon-cutting.

Best Buddies and their families from both LM and Harriton were invited to attend the tasty event as well.

Best Buddies is a program that builds one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social interactions while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion. Best Buddies' mission aligns with LMSD's efforts to build belonging in our schools. #LMSDBuildingBelonging
