Lower Merion School District


Signing up for and managing News Alerts allows users to register for alerts on news and announcement categories so you can stay up to date on all the happenings in the district or at your child's school.

The first step to signing up for alerts is to sign in to the login with your account. (If you are a community member without and account, you can create your own.)

Once you are logged into the website, navigate to the news page. You can sign up from the district news page or any one of the 10 school news pages.

On the news page, click the orange alert icon in the upper right corner of the news list.

Make sure the check boxes are checked next to any email address or phone number you wish to receive alerts to in the "Sent To" section at the top of the screen. If you wish to receive SMS/Text Msg alerts and have not already added and verified a text enabled phone number in your account profile, you will need to do this first before signing up for text message alerts.

Check the boxes next to each category you wish to receive alerts on. Be sure to check the box in the correct column for SMS/Txt Msg or Email alerts. Once you have selected all the categories you wish to receive alerts on, click the green "Update Settings" button at the bottom.

Once your settings are saved, you will see the Subscriptions screen where you can delete any existing subscriptions.
