Senior Project
The senior project will be an experiential exploration of a topic of interest to the individual student. Each senior will be assigned to a faculty adviser with whom he/she must meet on a scheduled basis from January through June.
Seniors will be released from classes in early May and dedicate 70 hours to their placement over the following three weeks. Seniors may be asked to report to school for mandatory meetings with their faculty advisors during this Experiential Learning Phase (ELP). The final presentations, demonstrations, or performances will be scheduled after the ELP period in coordination with the faculty advisors and the project coordinator
Seniors will earn .5 of a credit for the senior project during the second semester of the senior year. Each senior will earn a grade (“P” or “F”) for this course. The Lower Merion School District mandates that students must complete this project satisfactorily to graduate.
