Three Harriton High School musicians were selected for the Pennsylvania Music Educators' Association District 11 orchestra.
The talented students are 9th-grade cello player Ethan Hsu, 11th-grade oboe player Jayne Chen and 12th-grade viola player Aidan Hsu. Chen was also selected for the District 11 band.
Harriton will host the District 11 orchestra performance on February 8 and 9, 2024. The guest conductor will be Paul Bryan from the Curtis Institute of Music.
The District 11 band will be performing at Bensalem High School on January 10-12, 2023, with guest conductor Dr. Quintus Wrighten from the University of South Carolina.
