Begins with "Building Resilience and Self-Esteem for Elementary Children" on Wednesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Gladwyne Elementary School
Successful remediation efforts have lowered the slightly elevated levels of penicillium/aspergillus spores that were found last week in two Gladwyne Elementary classrooms. The levels are now below what's found in outside air at this time of year.
Hundreds of students, staff and family members recently gathered at Gladwyne Elementary School for the annual "back-to-school" picnic organized by the Home & School Association.
Remediation is underway in two classrooms at Gladwyne Elementary, where slightly elevated mold levels were found. The rooms will be closed until remediation is complete. Affected students and their teachers will use alternate spaces tomorrow.
Beginning Thursday, September 13 at 8:30 a.m. in District Administration Building
LMSD will not be offering flu vaccines for students
Tuesday, September 4th marked the beginning of the 2018-19 school year as faculty and staff welcomed back more than 8,700 students throughout the District's ten schools.
Parents/Guardians can now report student absences using the LMSD Safe Arrival online system. Absences can also be reported by phone to each school's Safe Arrival phone line. If an absence is reported using the online system, it is not necessary to send in a note. Notes are still required for absences reported by phone.
