Who We Are

The Education Foundation of Lower Merion (EFLM), originally known as the Lower Merion-Harriton Community Education Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established in 2006 to which tax-deductible contributions can be made.

Our Mission

The Education Foundation of Lower Merion's mission is to provide a vehicle for the entire community’s voluntary support of programs and activities enhancing the educational experience of all students, consistent with the mission of the Lower Merion School District.

Our Goals

The Foundation aims to provide the financial flexibility needed to ensure that all 11 of Lower Merion’s public schools continue to thrive. It also strives to strengthen alumni and community pride, and to develop meaningful relationships with other organizations, including businesses and cultural institutions.
