LMSD Summer Program COVID Protocols
LMSD Summer Program COVID Protocols

Masks are optional and social distancing discontinued for LMSD summer programs.

Dear Families of Students in LMSD Summer Programs,

LMSD Staff members are looking forward to welcoming students to our summer programs next week. Prior to those programs beginning, I wanted to share with you a quick update on health and safety protocols for summer.

Montgomery County is in the CDC's "Low" level for COVID-19. In "Low," the only recommendation is that anyone who is experiencing symptoms get tested for COVID-19. If your student tests positive, please call the nurse in their building to report their case.

For Gladwyne Elementary, please call 610-645-1445.

For Lower Merion High School, please call 610-645-1856.

Masks will be optional for all students and staff in LMSD buildings and on buses. Social distancing will not be enforced in classes or during meals. The website dashboard will not be updated; however, if a class or other core group experiences a COVID-19 outbreak, the parents/guardians of students in that class/group will be notified.

LMSD continues to urge all community members to get the COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.

Best wishes for healthy and enjoyable summer.
