Academic Support Program
Evaluation of Academic Support Programs (Spring 2018 – Present)
The Lower Merion School District offers a variety of support programs to assist students who are struggling academically. These services may focus on reading and literacy, mathematics, or more general types of academic work skills such as organization, work habits, and other skills and dispositions that support student success. Evaluation of these programs will focus on program purpose, program effectiveness, program equality, and cost analysis. Programs that provide special education support are not within the scope of this evaluation.
A brief overview of the evaluation approach was presented to the Board of School Directors on October 16, 2017.
