Gov. Wolf has extended the stay-at-home order covering Montgomery County through April 30, 2020. Schools are now closed indefinitely.
Lower Merion School District's Information Services Department will be using the District's seven 3D printers to print headbands for face shields needed by medical personnel working during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A second staff member from Cynwyd Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus). The staff member is recovering at home and doing well.

All LMSD schools are closed through Friday, April 10, 2020, in accordance with both the order from Gov. Wolf and our previously published District calendar.
Friday evening, March 20, 2020, the Montgomery County Office of Public Health (MCOPH) notified our District that a 4th grade student at Cynwyd Elementary School has also tested positive. The student is at home and recovering well.
