Parent Organizations

Parents/guardians are active, essential partners in creating a successful school environment in Lower Merion. Our parents/guardians are deeply engaged in the educational process and contribute in countless ways to the delivery of high-quality programs in our schools. They serve as volunteers, advocates and experts. They have high expectations for students and schools. They value and support public education.

The District's recognized parent organizations include the Interschool Council, Home & School Associations and Committee for Special Education. These organizations facilitate communication in the school community, develop events, provide advocacy and serve as a link between parents and administration.
