LMSD Counseling to Host Virtual "Love & Logic" Parenting Seminar
The LMSD Elementary School Counselors are pleased to offer a virtual, six-session Parenting Seminar beginning on March 7, 2024!
Love & Logic provides nationally renowned parenting strategies and resources that emphasize limit setting, accountability and logical consequences. Participants will learn:
- How to avoid un-winnable power struggles and arguments
- How to stay calm and empathetic when kids do incredibly upsetting things
- How to set enforceable limits
- How to avoid enabling and begin empowering
- How to help kids learn from mistakes
Participants are expected to attend all sessions. There is no cost to attend!
Sessions will be held virtually via Zoom from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- Thursday, March 7, 2024
- Thursday, March 14, 2024
- Thursday, March 21, 2024
- SPRING BREAK
- Thursday, April 4, 2024
- Thursday, April 11, 2024
- Thursday, April 18, 2024
This seminar has a limited number of openings.
