Black Rock Middle School has earned the "No Place for Hate" distinction for the 2023-24 school year from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a program that recognizes schools for their commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments! #LMSDBuildingBelonging
Traditionally, LMSD school names reflect the history of their geographic location. The name Black Rock Middle School was chosen in recognition of the distinct formations of black rocks in the area that the Indigenous Lenni Lenape people used to make tools and other implements.
