School Supply Lists

Kindergarten

We share supplies, so please DO NOT label each individual item. Please DO label your child’s headphones. Please send all supplies to school in a bag with your child’s name on it. You can drop it off at kindergarten orientation or send it in with your child on the first day of school.

  • 1 backpack (big enough for a folder and snack each day)
  • 1 pack markers (Classic Colors)
  • 1 pack Twistable Crayola Crayons (24 pack, standard colors)
  • 5 Elmer’s Glue sticks (0.77oz or bigger)
  • 1 black dry erase marker for white board (bullet tip)
  • 1 folder yellow (plastic preferred, it needs to last all year)
  • 1 set of headphones PLEASE LABEL THE HEADPHONES
  • 1 roll of paper towels (girls) or 1 package of paper Dixie cups (boys)

  • 12 sharpened yellow pencils (unlabeled, we’ll share these)
  • 1 box Crayola Washable Markers Classic, 8/Set
  • 1 pack of Crayola twistable crayons (classic colors)
  • Large Pencil Box (to fit all twistables & markers)
  • 1 BLACK White Board Marker and Eraser
  • 4 Large Glue Sticks (unlabeled, to share)
  • 1 bottle of white school glue (Elmer’s, etc.)
  • 2 each of the following Double Pocket Folders (unlabeled, to share) (blue, green, yellow, and red)
  • 1 package 3oz Dixie Cups
  • 1 pair of headphones (NOT EARBUDS PLEASE)
  • 1 box of Tissues
  • Boys bring 1 box gallon size plastic bags
  • Girls bring 1 box of snack or quart size plastic bags

  8. 3 separate different colored spiral composition books— wide ruled
  9. 2 red, vinyl, 3-prong (fasteners), 2-pocket portfolio
  10. 1, 2-pocket portfolio with fasteners in each of the following colors: yellow, blue, green, purple, and orange. No substitutions, please.
  11. 2 marble composition books
  12. 1 regular sized pencil box
  13. 1 family sized box of tissues
  14. 1 pink wedge eraser
  15. BOYS ONLY—1, gallon-sized box of zip-lock bags
  16. GIRLS ONLY—1, sandwich sized box of zip-lock bags

Third Grade

Welcome to Third Grade!

We are looking forward to getting to know each of you. We are sure that our year together will be both interesting and successful. In September, your teacher will let you know of any additional materials that may be needed for your specific classroom. Please label all supplies with your child’s name. These supplies are requested but not required- any family who needs help obtaining supplies should contact the Main Office at Belmont Hills.

  • 4 jumbo glue sticks
  • 1 dozen sharpened pencils

  • crayons (box of 12 or 24)
  • scissors
  • clipboard
  • supply box – no larger than 5x8
  • colored pencils
  • 5 folders with pockets (solid colors only please - 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 purple)

Fourth Grade

We are looking forward to meeting you and having a wonderful year with you! Below is a list of supplies that you may find helpful in fourth grade. This is only for your convenience and should be considered optional.

  • 7 pocket accordion folder
  • 3 two pocket folders with fasteners
  • 1 wide-ruled 5 subject spiral notebook
  • Markers
  • Colored pencils
  • Box of pencils
  • 2 glue sticks
  • Ruler
  • Pencil box (this should be less than 3” tall in order to fit inside the desk)
  • Scissors
  • 1 large box of tissues
  • 1 set of headphones
  • 1 highlighter
  • 3 packs of 3x3 Post-it notes
  • Two thin Sharpie markers (black)
  • One pack of thin dry erase markers (black)
  • Any 2 of the following for the class to share for Makerspace and STEM activities:
    • Model Magic
    • Modeling Clay
    • Roll of masking tape
    • Roll of duct tape (feel free to choose a design)
    • Craft (popsicle) sticks (any size)
    • Box of Sandwich bags
    • Plastic Spoons
    • Felt sheets
    • Yarn or String (any color)

We could also use clear, 2 liter plastic bottles for science and paper towel tubes for STEM projects. Please send these in whenever available throughout the year.

REMINDER: Each fifth grader will be provided with a standard assignment book. Please remember your space for storing supplies is limited. Any pencil boxes/cases should be small enough to fit in the top of your desk.
