Kindergarden

KINDERGARTEN SUPPLY LIST
2018-2019
We share supplies, so please DO NOT label each individual item.
Please DO label your child’s headphones, however.

Please send all supplies to school in a shopping bag with your child’s name on it.
You can drop the supplies off at the classroom sneak a peak, at kindergarten orientation or send it  in with your child on the first day of school.

✏ 1 backpack (big enough for a folder, snack and library book each day)
✏ 1 pack markers (Classic Colors) AM ONLY
✏ 1 pack Twistable Crayola Crayons (24 pack, standard col ors only)
✏ 5 Elmer’s Glue sticks (0. 77oz or bigger)
(Elmer's    is the best – strongly preferred)
✏ 1 black dry erase marker for white board (bullet tip)
✏ 1 folder AM = Yellow        PM = BLUE
(plastic preferred, it needs to last all year)
✏ 1 set of headphones PLEASE LABEL THE HEADPHONES
✏ 1    4-pack of 5 oz. Play Doh PM ONLY
✏ 1 roll of paper towels
✏ 1 package of paper Dixie cups
 

First Grade

  • 12    sharpened yellow pencils (unlabeled, we’ll share these)
  • 12 pack colored pencils
  • 1 pack of Crayola twistable crayons
  • Large Pencil Box (to fit all Twistables, & pencils)
  • 8 pack white board markers
  • 4 Large Glue Sticks (unlabeled, to share)
  • 2 each of the following Double Pocket Folders (unlabeled, to share) (blue, green, yellow, and red)
  • 1 package 3 oz Dixie Cups
  • 1 pair of headphones (NOT EARBUDS PLEASE)
  • Clipboard
  • One bottle of white glue
  • 1 box of Facial Tissue
  • Last name A-M 1 box sandwich size plastic bags
  • Last name N-Z 1 roll of Paper towels

Second Grade

Please try to supply the following materials for your child’s use:

  1. 2 scotch tapes
  2. 3 jumbo sized glue sticks
  3. markers, crayons, colored pencils
  4. 1 highlighter
  5. 1 pen
  6. 12 sharpened pencils
  7. 1 pair of kid-sized scissors
  8. 1 clipboard
  9. 4 separate different colored spiral composition books—wide ruled
  10. 1 red, vinyl, 3-prong (fasteners), 2-pocket portfolio
  11. 1  ,     2-pocket portfolio with fasteners in each of the following colors: yellow, blue, green, purple, and orange. No substitutions, please.
  12. 3 marble composition books
  13. 1 regular sized pencil box
  14. 1 family sized box of tissues
  15. 1 pink wedge eraser
  16. BOYS ONLY: 1 box of sandwich  sized zip lock baggies
  17. GIRLS ONLY: 1 box zipper style gallon baggies

Third Grade

Dear Third Graders and Parents,

Welcome to third grade! We are looking forward to getting to know each of you. We are sure that our year together will be both interesting and successful. In September, your teacher will let you know of any additional materials that may be needed for your specific classroom. Please label all supplies with your child’s name. (These supplies are requested but not required- any family who needs help obtaining supplies should speak with school counselor, Rebecca Wagner  , 610-645-1425  wagnerr@lmsd.org)

  • 4 jumbo glue sticks
  • 2 dozen sharpened pencils
  • markers
  • crayons (12 or 24 box)
  • scissors
  • clipboard
  • supply box – no larger than 5x8
  • colored pencils
  • 5 folders with pockets (solid colors only please - 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 purple)
  • 3 marble composition books
  • one box of tissues
  • one box sandwich or quart plastic bags
  • 4 dry erase markers
  • 1 white board eraser or a clean sock
  • headphones (in a sealed bag labeled with your child’s name)

Fourth Grade

Dear Fourth Grade Students,
We are looking forward to meeting you and having a wonderful year with you!  Below is a list of supplies that you may find helpful in fourth grade.  This is only for your convenience and should be considered optional. (These supplies are requested but not required- any family who needs help obtaining supplies should speak with school counselor, Rebecca Wagner  , 610-645-1425  wagnerr@lmsd.org)

  • A 7 pocket accordion folder
  • 2 two pocket folders with fasteners
  • 1 wide-ruled 5 subject spiral notebook
  • 1 wide-ruled marble composition book
  • Markers
  • colored pencils
  • a generous supply of pencils
  • a green pen for correcting papers
  • 2 glue sticks
  • a ruler
  • a pencil box (this should be less than 3” tall in order to fit inside the desk)
  • scissors
  • 2 large boxes of tissues
  • 1 set of headphones (Dollar Store headphones are fine.)
  • 1 highlighter
  • 3 packs of 3x3 Post-it Notes
  • 2 Thin Sharpie markers (black)
  • 1 pack of thin dry erase markers (black)
  • Any 2 of the following for the class to share for Makerspace and STEM activities:
    • Chenille stems
    • Roll of  masking tape
    • Roll of duct tape (feel free to choose a design)
    • Craft (popsicle ) sticks - any size
    • Box of Sandwich bags
    • Pom-Poms
    • Plastic Spoons
    • Felt Sheets
    • Yarn or String (any color) 

We will also need clear, 2 liter plastic bottles for our first unit in science. Start saving now - we can use all you save!

Fifth Grade

  • Accordion file folder made of HEAVY plastic; Approximate size 9” X 14” Suggested Version: Globe Weis 13 Pocket Letter File
  • three subject notebooks (Reading, Writing, Math, Spelling)

  • 3 two pocket folders with fasteners (Science)

REMINDER: Each fifth grader will be provided with a standard assignment book. Please remember your space for storing supplies is limited. Any pencil boxes/cases should be small enough to fit in the top of your desk.
