Throughout the school year, Belmont Hills students and their parents support a variety of community service projects. The HSA's Service League hosts after school projects which promotes children and their parents working together.
A Belmont Hills School Team participates each year in the Autism Speaks: Walk Now For Autism.
Belmont Hills brought the Dream Flag Project to the Lower Merion Elementary Schools. The project is an annual poetry/art/community-connection project.
Belmont Hills maintains its own garden and annually holds a "Children's Garden Celebration" to mark the return of spring, with poetry, songs and new plantings.

Annual "People of Peace" program honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and other notable advocates for peace.
"Go for the Greens" initiative promotes healthy decision-making and good nutrition.
