Athletics
Students and Parents can access our athletics' website on Schoology by following the link provided here. Likewise, each sports individual athletic schedule may be found on DigitalSports. DigitalSports will also, allow parents and guardians to sign up for instant e-mail and text alerts for each sport their student athlete participates in. This will provide up to the minute information about cancellations and postponements.
Bala Cynwyd's athletic program embodies the school's participatory spirit. Students are encouraged to explore their sporting interests through interscholastic athletics, intramural and fitness-focused events and clubs. We believe it is critical that students have diverse opportunities to develop an appreciation for and commitment to wellness.
Additionally, the physical and mental challenges afforded through competitive athletics, in team and individual contexts, help foster leadership skills, self-confidence and strong interpersonal relationships, which are assets associated with productive, active lives.

Physical Examinations
The annual PIAA Physical form (CIPPE Form) is due PRIOR to the start of the sports season, and the physical exam (section 6) must be dated after May 1, 2025 for the 2025-26 season. Student athletes may not participate in, or stay after school to watch, sports practices without a completed CIPPE form.
Parents/Guardians will need to create an account on the Arbiter Sports website to complete and upload the student’s CIPPE form. The doctor’s section of the CIPPE form can be found here on the Arbiter website, and should be printed, completed by the doctor, then uploaded to your student’s account. Fans
These interscholastic teams participate in a large volume of games during the year. It is great fun for the parents and friends to cheer for BC's athletes. Spectators are welcome and encouraged; however, we ask that students arrive with a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. Additionally, spectators at Bala Cynwyd contests are encouraged to participate actively in sporting events, but within the guidelines of "appropriate conduct". Those persons violating these guidelines will be asked to leave the premises.
