When Lower Merion graduate Jamie Brenner completed school in 1989, she kept the school's motto of "Enter to learn; go forth to serve" close to her thoughts.
Now, nearly 30 years later, the motto serves as a major theme for her latest book, "The Husband Hour." Much of the story takes place in Lower Merion and involves characters from here.
With this being her fourth book, Brenner said Lower Merion has continued to play a role in each of them.
"My books have always been at least partially set here," Brenner said in a recent interview. "But the new one is all Lower Merion. The protagonist went to Lower Merion. It's set here and partially at the Jersey shore."
