B.J. Johnson, who scored 1,070 points in his two seasons at La Salle after beginning his college basketball career at Syracuse, has signed a free agent contract with the Orlando Magic.
This past season the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 20.8 points and 8.3 rebounds and was a second-team all-Atlantic Ten selection.
A product of Lower Merion, Johnson played for the Charlotte Hornets' summer league team. In four games with the Hornets, he averaged 5.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 11.1 minutes.To continue reading this article on Philly.com, click here.
