Dahlia Levine (LM '20) to Receive Outstanding Jewish Female College Athlete of the Year Award
(Great Neck, N.Y.) - The Jewish Sports Heritage Association recently announced that Brown University senior Dahlia Levine (LM ’20) will be the recipient of the 2025 Jay Fiedler Outstanding Jewish Female College Athlete of the Year Award. The award will be presented to Dahlia at the Seventh Annual Jewish Sports Heritage Association Induction Ceremony, to be held on April 6, 2025, at Temple Israel, Lawrence (N.Y.).
Dahlia, from Ardmore, Pa., was a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association First Team All-America (2023-‘24; 2022-‘23), First Team All-Ivy (‘23-‘24), CRCA Scholar-Athlete (‘23-‘24; ‘21-‘22), raced with the Varsity 8 for the entire season and helped the crew finish fifth at the NCAA Championships and finish fourth at the Ivy League Championships.
“We are very excited about honoring Dahlia with the Jay Fiedler Outstanding Jewish Female College Athlete of the Year Award,” said Alan Freedman, Director of Jewish Sports Heritage Association, “ she is an outstanding example of a true scholar-athlete.”
Jewish Sports Heritage Association is a not-for-profit education organization whose mission is to educate the public about the role Jewish men and women have played, and continue to play, in the world of sports, an area of Jewish accomplishment often overlooked. Each year those athletes being inducted are honored in a ceremony held at Temple Israel, Lawrence (N.Y.).
