Commitment to Professional Learning Update - 2/16

The Commitment to Professional Learning Pathway team is drafting an action plan to support work in this area. Among the action steps currently under review are: collaboratively identifying "non-negotiable" effective instructional practices, engaging key stakeholders (e.g., LMEA and School Board) in discussions about educator-leaders;, research of effective practices for establishing and supporting educator-leaders; learning journey to districts with established, effective educator-leaders, evaluating our current approach to supporting informal and formal educator-leaders to identify effective practies, identifying educator-leaders (formal) and "go-to's" (informal) with strengths in identified instructional practices, etc. To view a draft, click here.
