WriteIn (8-12)

WriteIn is a summer enrichment program offered by the Lower Merion School District for enrolled students. Twenty rising 8th-12th grade students from across the four secondary schools spend two weeks in a supportive environment writing in their favorite genres and receiving feedback from teachers and peers in person and online.

There is no cost, but space is limited.

Interested students should complete a Self-Nomination Form. Participation in the program is contingent on an endorsement by an LMSD English teacher, confirmation via email from a parent/guardian that you will be able to participate for the duration of the program, and available seats. If transportation is requested your nomination must be received by June 1, 2022.  After June 1, the District can no longer guarantee transportation. Self-Nominations are accepted until June 15 or until the program reaches capacity, whichever occurs first. Seats are offered on a first come-first serve-basis.

Students should commit to attending all eight days of the program.

WriteIn will run Monday, July 11 - Thursday, July 14, 2022 and Monday, July 18 - Thursday, July 21, 2022.
