USciences-LMSD Dual Enrollment
Lower Merion School District has entered into a partnership with the University of the Sciences as part of the district’s commitment to provide high school juniors and seniors with opportunities for a successful transition from high school to college. Juniors and seniors at both Harriton High School and Lower Merion High School are provided the opportunity to participate in the University of the Sciences-Lower Merion School District Dual Enrollment Program.
The Dual Enrollment Program, is a realistic college forum with on-site academic support at each high school. High school business teachers will help students establish a collaborative academic bridge from high school to college and facilitate students' preparedness for a college environment. The dual enrollment courses are taught by certified college professors. Students who are admitted for UScience credit and successfully complete the two-year program, will earn 11 college credits.
Students who are admitted to the program will take the following courses:
- Course: PB120 Introduction to Business Seminar (2 College Credits)
- Course: PB319 Introduction to Marketing Management (3 College Credits)
- Course: PB316 Accounting (3 College Credits)
- Course: PB323 Principles of Management (3 College Credits)
