LMSD Dual Enrollment Program
Lower Merion School District has entered into a partnership with Gwynedd Mercy University as part of the district’s commitment to provide high school juniors and seniors with opportunities for a successful transition from high school to college. The Dual Enrollment Program is offered to Harriton and Lower Merion High School students.
The Dual Enrollment courses allow students to experience postsecondary coursework and its increased academic rigor, while still in the supportive environment of their local high school. These courses are taught in our buildings, by LMSD teachers who have been approved as adjunct professors by the participating college/university. The LMSD Dual Enrollment Program allows students to take up to four college courses and earn up to twelve college credits upon successful completion of these four courses.
Students are required to pay all tuition, course and textbook fees once admitted into the program. The projected tuition for each course is $400.
Students who are admitted to the program will have the opportunity to take the following courses:
- DE Introduction to Business Seminar (3 College Credits)
- DE Introduction to Marketing (3 College Credits)
- DE Accounting (3 College Credits)
- DE Principles of Management (3 College Credits)
Current sophomores and juniors are invited complete the interest form for the DE Program. For more information about the Dual Enrollment Program, please read the information packet and contact Mrs. Lindsey Canuso, Dual Enrollment Coordinator at Canusol@lmsd.org.
