Before- & After-School Childcare
Responding to the needs of our families, LMSD has contracted with Right At School (RAS) to provide before- and after-school care for students in grades K-4 on-site at our elementary schools.
Having RAS offer these programs is part of the District's commitment to providing safe, engaging and meaningful in-school extracurricular programs to enrich the lives of students, give parents peace of mind and enable schools to continue to focus on their academic mission.
RAS works with the District Administration to provide childcare on some days when elementary schools are not in session or have early dismissals. RAS will provide families with information about fees and about which days and at which location these services will be offered.
RAS offers a curriculum that features hands-on learning, multi-sensory activities, child-driven projects, daily fitness, team building and leadership development. Families can choose before-school care and/or after-school care.
