Welsh Valley gets into holiday spirit with Thanksgiving Luncheon & Food Drive

Welsh Valley Middle School recently tapped into the holiday spirit with their annual Thanksgiving Luncheon and Food Drive as students, staff and family members took the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal together while also helping provide food for those less fortunate.

Organized by the Welsh Valley Home & School Association (HSA), the Dragons enjoyed an early Thanksgiving lunch featuring all of the traditional fixings - turkey and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet and mashed potatoes, green beans, an assortment of desserts and more. The luncheon also coincided with Welsh Valley's Thanksgiving Food Drive as students and staff collected turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, mac & cheese, stuffing, applesauce, sweet potatoes, canned vegetables, brownie mix and grocery store gift cards, which will be donated to the Ardmore Food Pantry and ElderNet of Lower Merion and Narberth.
