Tree Planting at District Administration Building

The Lower Merion Board of School Directors accepted with gratitude the Interschool Council's donation of a sugar maple tree, that has been planted in front of the District Administration Offices, in honor of the efforts of the entire school community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members of LMSD's Operations Department Grounds Crew planted the tree on Monday, April 12, 2021.

The plaque which was mounted in front of the tree reads, "In Recognition of our Lower Merion School District teachers, staff, students and administration during the COVID-19 pandemic 2020-2021. Gifted by the Lower Merion Interschool Council."

The tree will not only provide shade and beauty to the Lower Merion High School/Administration campus, but will also serve as a reminder that good things can come out of even the most difficult times.
