Penn Wynne students explore lives of Famous Americans

Second grade students at Penn Wynne Elementary School recently showcased their research on influential figures from past and present to classmates, parents and teachers at the Famous Americans Biography Show. The event was a culmination of a research project that the students worked on for several weeks. The second graders selected a famous American and researched their childhood, accomplishments and other interesting facts before creating posters which they shared with all of those in attendance at the show. Prior to delivering their presentations, students also sang a medley patriotic songs relevant to the morning's proceedings. Great job, Penguins!
