Penn Wynne First Graders paw-form "Arf!"

The Penn Wynne Elementary School first grade class recently took center stage during their fun-filled performance of Arf! in front of an audience of classmates, family and friends.

In Arf!, "Doggie Town" is buzzing with excitement as judges from the famous Wurstchester Dog Show are coming to scout new talent. General German Shepard is drilling on proper etiquette and discipline, the singing Dalmatians are connecting the dots and the Boxers are working out and getting shape. Rover the Mutt, however, is very sad. The huskies, poodles, pointers and other fellow canines then get together as they help Rover discover his special talent!

The students performed a medley of songs throughout the show including This is Our Night to Howl!, What Does it Mean to Be a Dog?, Connect the Dots, I May Be Small and more! Special thanks Vocal Music Teachers Barbara Humes and Alexandra Kozak for their leadership and direction! To view a slideshow of pictures from their performance, click on the image below!
