Owls read and raise $1,345 for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)

Cynwyd Elementary School recently hosted their annual "Comfy Cozy Read-In Day" as the Owls donned their favorite bedtime attire and spent time throughout the day reading books in their pajamas. The Student Council, with the support of their fellow students and teachers, sponsored the fundraiser benefiting patient activity programming for the Children Life Support Group at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This program helps to provide fun events and special programs for holidays, birthdays and other celebrations throughout the course of patients' treatment.

Ultimately, the Cynwyd community raised a grand total of $1,345.82 for the Children's Life Support Group at CHOP. Great job, Owls! Special thanks to Suzanne Spiegelman, the Student Council and the HSA Community Service Committee for all of their efforts!
