Lower Merion School District welcomed back faculty and staff on Tuesday, August 27 during the annual Opening Day programming held at Lower Merion High School. Employees from all ten schools and administration enjoyed breakfast before heading into the auditorium to hear remarks from the Harriton and Lower Merion Student Council Presidents, School Board member Subha Robinson and a "welcome back" address from Superintendent Robert Copeland. These sessions will take place December 8-17 at various locations throughout the District.
Several dozen Lower Merion High School students spent their Lunch and Learn period learning how they can become successful activists for causes that are important to them.
Ten student-athletes from Harriton and Lower Merion recently signed National Letters of Intent as they made their official decisions on where they will continue their academic and athletic careers.
