The Lower Merion Board of School Directors wishes to go on record unequivocally condemning the statements made by Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale referring to the Black Lives Matter movement as a "radical left-wing hate group."
Mr. Gale's statements are ugly, divisive and exactly the wrong message for our elected officials to be sending at this time. We support the vote to censure him by the other county commissioners.

The Harriton and Lower Merion music departments will be hosting virtual open houses on Tuesday, January 26 and Wednesday, January 27, respectively, each beginning at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. While the programs are geared towards eighth graders and their families, all are welcome to attend.
