Lower Merion Players will present "Yerma" by Federico García Lorca on April 26, 27 and 28 at 7:00 p.m. with a matinee on April 28 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lower Merion High School auditorium.
The project explored the history of the Civil Rights Movement through the lens of Phillip Hoose's non-fiction work, Claudette Colvin: Twice Toward Justice, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the political, social and emotional hardships of the time period.
LMSD's twelve-member team topped ten other competing districts in this year's competition, which challenges the knowledge and skills of drivers in a series of events focusing on student safety, driver professionalism and service excellence.
