Dawgma 1712 is a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team based in Ardmore Pennsylvania. Operating on the four pillars of passion, perseverance, leadership and community, Dawgma strives to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Every member is focused on spreading FIRST's message and strengthening STEM education in every way possible. The team has run Jr. FLL programs for elementary school children, advocated for the creation of a robotics curriculum in middle schools, participated in the Philadelphia Robotics Expo and run many other outreach programs. Dawgma partnered with JCHAI (Judith Creed Homes for Adult Independence) to create a class that teaches robotics to adults with developmental disabilities. They also run several classes for younger children, including a summer camp and classes at local middle schools.
