Lower Merion High School recently hosted a virtual induction ceremony welcoming 146 students from the Class of 2021 to the National Honor Society (NHS). The NHS celebrates commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character - four pillars that have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921.
Honor Society Sponsor Mrs. Natalie Kail provided introductory remarks before a candle lighting ceremony was led by the Class of 2020's NHS officers Eugenia Feng (President), Ethan Manin (Vice President), Trisha Balaji (Secretary), Jasmine Li (Community Outreach) and Nicole Loonstyn (Community Outreach). The program also included a special salutation from Principal Sean Hughes and a Presidential Report from Feng before Mrs. Kail concluded the ceremony with closing remarks.
Congratulations to all of this year's inductees on this tremendous accomplishment! To watch a video of the virtual induction ceremony, click here.
