LMHS Crew shines in Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta

Members of the Lower Merion High School crew team recently braved the cold while participating in the Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta – the final regatta of the fall season - as both the Novice Girls 4+ and Novice Boys 8+ won first place in their respective 2-kilometer sprints.

The Novice Girls 4+ turned in an especially dominant performance finishing more than 13 seconds faster than their closest opponent. Congratulations to all of the winning rowers!

Lower Merion High School Pool Closed for Cleaning

The Lower Merion High School swimming pool will be closed for cleaning Thursday afternoon, Dec. 13, 2018, and Friday morning, Dec. 14, 2018.

The hope is that the pool will re-open Friday afternoon.

Merion & Cynwyd shine in "Citizen Challenge Essay Contest"

Both schools advanced to the finals of this year's competition, which provides an opportunity for students to think critically and express themselves about a current issue facing our democracy, as Merion ultimately claimed third place overall.
