Knights Excel at 41st Annual Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference
Knights Excel at 41st Annual Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference

Eleven students from Bala Cynwyd Middle School's Technology Student Association (TSA) chapter recently traveled to National Harbor, Maryland to compete in the 2019 National TSA Conference where the Knights turned in an exemplary all-around performance highlighted by sixth grader Aaron Lin and seventh grader Oliver Nickerson's first place finish in the Video Game Design event.

The BC contingent joined nearly 8,500 middle school and high school TSA student members from across the country at this year's event, which for the past 41 years has worked to enhance students' personal development, leadership and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through intracurricular activities, competitions and other programs.

The Knights worked diligently throughout the school year in preparation for the National Conference as they earned the chance to compete at the national level through their efforts at the Pennsylvania TSA State Conference held in April.

Along with the first place finish in Video Game Design, the BC students' stellar performance also resulted in a semifinalist position in the Website Design Event. Congratulations to all of the students who participated in this year's event!
