The Junior Olympics has been a part of Lower Merion School District's Elementary Physical Education program for more than 60 years. Each spring, the fifth-grade students participate in a track & field unit and, upon completion of that unit, take part in a fun-filled and competitive culminating event as students from all six elementary schools gather at Lower Merion High School's Arnold Field for a morning of track and field events, including the Tug-of-War, High Jump, Long Jump, 60 Yard Dash, the 4 x 100 Relay and more.
