Harriton Theater Company Nominated for Seven Cappies

The Harriton Theater Company production of Peter and the Starcatcher was nominated for seven Cappies.

The Cappies is a writing and awards program that trains high school theatre and journalism students to be expert writers, critical thinkers and leaders. Student critics vie to be published in local media outlets by attending productions at other schools and writing critical reviews.

The nominees are:

  • Outstanding Underclass Critic: Oakley Blinman, Aiden Kaliner
  • Outstanding 12th Grade Critic: Patrick McCann
  • Outstanding Critic Team: Harriton Cappies Team
  • Props: CJ Bowser and Maren McDonnell
  • Best Supporting Actress in a Play: Audrey Sigler (Smee)
  • Best Leading Actor in a Play: Henry McCullough (Black Stache)

Harriton High School's 2019-2020 critic team members are Patrick McCann, Benna Trachtenberg, Aiden Kaliner, Oakley Blinman, Maren McDonnell, and Kristiana Filipov.

The Cappies will be celebrated at a virtual gala on June 7, 2020, instead of the originally scheduled in-person gala on May 17, 2020.
