Harriton Student Earns Perfect Score on AP Exam

Congratulations to Harriton High School Junior Amelie Lemay, who earned a perfect score on the AP U.S. Government and Politics Exam that she took as a sophomore last year.

According to The College Board, Lemay was one of only 113 students in the world to score the maximum number of points on the exam, answering every multiple choice question correctly, in addition to earning full credit on each of the essay questions.

The AP program enables students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. Lemay's teacher was Mr. Jamison Warren.

Trevor Packer, senior vice president, AP and instruction for The College Board, said, "This outstanding accomplishment is likely a direct reflection of the top-quality education being offered at Harriton High School. We applaud Amelie's hard work and also the AP teacher responsible for engaging students and enabling them to excel in a college-level course."
