Gladwyne celebrates diversity at 4th Annual Cultural Heritage Night

Gladwyne's Cultural Heritage Night is one of the school's largest and most diverse events of the year bringing together the community across generations and cultures for a fun-filled and educational evening. The program highlights the countries, histories and family traditions of students in celebration of the rich cultural diversity that makes up the Gladwyne community.

The school was alive with the sights, sounds and smells of many countries throughout the world as the hallways and classrooms were filled with colorful and educational displays created by students and parents, each sharing their unique heritage and culture through a wide range of visuals. All participating families were encouraged to share something about their background by setting up a table with a map, music, artwork, samples of food or traditional clothing. Among the countries represented at this year's event were Iran, Brazil, China, Scotland, Israel, France, Switzerland, Pakistan and France, to name a few.
