Families Needed for Special Educaton Focus Groups

Do you have one or more children receiving special education services in or through the Lower Merion School District?

Consider joining a Family Focus Group!

The Improve Group and WestEd have been hired by the Lower Merion School District (LMSD) to conduct a study to learn more about special education programming in LMSD. We want to hear what is working well and what could be done to improve the way that students with IEPs are educated by LMSD. The Improve Group and WestEd will be hosting family focus groups to help us gather that information in a confidential, interactive manner. If you are interested in sharing your thoughts and experiences and would be available for one of the sessions below, please complete a brief eligibility screening form from The Improve Group and West Ed by visiting

Dates, Times, General Locations:

The exact location of the focus groups will be shared with those who are eligible to participate.

1) Tuesday, February 18th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in Wynnewood

2) Thursday, February 20th from 1:30 to 3:00 pm in Bryn Mawr

3) Thursday, February 20th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in Ardmore
